Apollo Missions: Translunar configuration, Earth Re-Entry & Landing

Recreated from official NASA sources, this mug is one of a series covering numerous configurations and stages of the Apollo vehicles and missions. This is a glossy white mug (capacity of 11 fl oz / 325 ml) that is dishwasher and microwave safe.

This particular artwork illustrates two critical stage of each Apollo Mission: The configuration used to reach the moon and the re-entry and landing of the Command Module.

The first half of the mug shows the Command Service Module and Lunar Lander in the setup they would be as they travel from Earth's Orbit to the Moon. The second half of the mug shows the separation of Command Module from the Service Module as well as the narrow envelope in which the craft had to position itself for re-entry before the main parachutes were teased out of their housing.

The artwork for these items comes directly from scans of the original NASA paperwork in the 1960s and 70s. As a result, there may be small artifacts or distortions present in the line art which are a result of the scanning process.

The original work on which these posters are based remains property of NASA, no copyright or endorsement is asserted.

All items come with a tracking code so you can make sure they do not deviate from their flight plan as they make their way to you.
